Events are restricted to the spouses of the Heads of Mission only (including male spouses and spouses of permanent official Chargés d’Affaires) so that HOMSA spouses from all regions of the world can get to know each other.

 

Additionally, spouses of non-permanent Chargés d’Affaires are welcome to attend HOMSA events as guests.

 

Guests from different Canadian associations can also be invited e.g International Club of Ottawa (ICO), Diplomatic Hospitality Group (DHG), Ottawa Garden Club (OGC), and the Parliamentary Spouses Association as well as the Defense Attaché's spouses
