HOMSA Maghreb & Middle East group hosted the annual HOMSA welcome event at the Residence of the Ambassador of Egypt. New HOMSA members were announced as well as the Steering Committee members, then introductions were made by the different social groups in Ottawa (PSA, ICO, DHG, and the Garden Club).
Following the short speeches, the Maghreb & Middle East group invited all the guests for a culinary journey where they were treated with mezze stations, street food classics, couscous, slow cooked and spiced dishes, and traditional Arabic sweets and deserts, all accompanied by famous drinks like hibiscus juice, saffron tea and Arabic coffee.
